This was a duck I really wanted to see. And this was the only time we got fairly close to them. The shelducks are great ducks. And this color is stunning.

It was tricky to catch the Rainbow Bee-Eater in the low morning sun. With a little help of Photoshop I managed to get most of it´s colors back. I like these images as they show the long tail feather I did not see in other images.   :)

This is a beautiful bird I loved to watch. The way they swooped the bill back and forth to catch something worth eating. I looked up information about them but can´t find anything about that peculiar bill. Why is there a hole in the lower beak? Maybe saving weight? or letting the water pass while they reap whatever they find.
