Welcome Swallow - Hirundo neoxena

This swallow is rather close in appearance to our barn swallows. And they were quite common on our trip. The last shot is bad quality but I share it mainly because it shows the white markings on the swallows tail feathers.

  7. There are a number of these that hang around our house. Lovely birds that are so graceful to watch. They even tried to make a nest inside the back porch but we didn't think that was a good idea.
