Bell Miner - Manorina melanophrys - Klockhonungsstare

We visted Border loop only to see and hear this Bell Minor. The forest was dark and it was quite tricky to see and photograph the bird. But it was no problems  to hear it. I searched for a video so you can hear it. It was wonderful.

Visiting a wetland in Queensland

 Late afternoon we visited this wetland. Many different birds and a cow. :) There are some cranes, I believe they are Sarus crane. And then herons and egrets.

I was very confused about the images above. I thought the bird looks weird. Until I saw the last bad image. The bird had turned the head and it has a blue berry in it´s beak. That is why it looked so strange.

The Cattle Egret is a well known bird. I have seen it in several countries. I think even Sweden had a few visits from it. But here it is Australia.
