© NF Photo 140909 Mt Hypipamee Cassowary
We has already seen the Cassowary the first day. his day we did seek out some wild ones and found a family, two adults and one chick, walking the forest. To my friends' dismay these came really close. The young headed my way and came as close as a meter from me. And the adult following. I stayed put as I did not want to disturb them or make them nervous. Could be harmful to me to. In the forest and so close I could not get good shots. But I have some from the first day.
