Internet has not much to say about this bird. But it feeds on insects. Guess taht is why I found it on the riverbank. Nothing mentioned about male and female.

  2. Very beautiful ... I am surprised they don't have more to say about them. But then, in Australia there are so many unusual and gorgeous birds, maybe these are like our sparrows ... too many, too common to be interesting to people. Pictures are great though ... and I like the Spectacaled Monarchs :)
