this is a bird with many names it seems. Acc to wiki it is known as: mudlark, murray magpie and peewee.

  1. Nice photos of the Magpie-Lark - especially the one with the spread wings. I have a pair of them that regularly check my lawn for bugs.

  4. Yes, it does have many names. I know it as a peewee. Great shots. I've shared rainbow lorikeets this week but what I didn't capture was them chasing a peewee out of their tree. It was a very noisy experience.
