Victoria’s riflebird, female - Ptiloris victoriae  (correct)

This is a bird I´m not quite sure about. It was the name I was given but for some reason the coloring around the eyes dont really matches what I have seen on other images on the net. If it is wrong, please tell me so I can correct it. As you can see it is having "breakfast" given food by the visitors.

Learn more about Victoria’s riflebird   Thanks to Neil who gave me the right one :)

  2. Beautiful photos. Try Victoria's Riflebird female if the photo was taken in North Queensland.
That is the closest I could think of.

  6. Nice bird - I managed to see a female south of Brisbane a couple of years ago - but, alas, no male. Maybe this year!

  7. Cool bird, very expressive, I looked up the male display on you tube and it would be fantastic to see that.
